Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ralph Long (ranked 4044 p4p, 3383 weight class) and Bear Claw (ranked 456 p4p, 401 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ralph Long!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bear Claw!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Claw tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Claw tries to clinch up but Long circles away and keeps his distance.
Long gets a clinch.
Claw is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Long is defending well for now.
Claw takes a knee to the side of the body.
Long lands a nice uppercut.
Long lands a left hand.
Long avoiding damage as Claw throws knees to the body.
A left hand lands to the body for Long.
We've been informed that Claw has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Long throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Long lands a left and a right that send Claw crashing to the mat, dazed. Long thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Bear Claw has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Long steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Claw is out on his feet! Long sets himself and nearly takes Claw's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Ralph Long!
A relieved looking Ralph Long thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
