Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Balink Tarlah (ranked 2203 p4p, 23708 weight class) and Brendan Wallace (ranked 282 p4p, 573 weight class). Brendan Wallace will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Balink Tarlah!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Brendan Wallace!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Steven Brown and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wallace clinches up with Tarlah and pushes him back against the cage.
Tarlah can't get the takedown.

Tarlah gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wallace can do anything to dispel that myth.
Wallace bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tarlah's guard.

Tarlah tries to land a sweep but no joy.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Tarlah wants a takedown but no success here.

Wallace has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Tarlah clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Wallace has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Tarlah has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Tarlah is on top in guard.

Wallace is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Balink Tarlah overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
