The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jabbar fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Collins on the side of the head.

It looks like Dante Collins has been cut.
Jabbar throws a sloppy head kick and Collins moves out of range easily.
Jabbar wants to clinch up but Collins keeps it at a distance.
No luck for Collins with that takedown attempt.
Jabbar throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Collins's head.
A jab-cross combination lands for Jabbar and sends Collins crashing to the mat! Jabbar follows him down to the mat - Collins regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Collins is trying to get back to full guard.
Collins is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
It looks like Jabbar is going to stand back up.
Collins tries to roll over but Jabbar keeps him under control.

Jabbar throws a head kick but Collins moves out of range.

The fight stays on the outside here - Collins looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jabbar plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
