Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ieuan Thomas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Fabricio Silva!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Phil Schofield and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas moves to clinch but Silva breaks away
and Silva counters with a single leg into guard. Thomas didn't expect that.
Thomas working a defensive guard here.
Silva drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Thomas manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Silva has Thomas in his guard.
Thomas trying to control but Silva is working from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Silva looking for subs off his back but Thomas has passed one foot through into half guard.
Silva keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Thomas takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Thomas missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Thomas is looking to take a break and control but Silva is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Silva looking for submissions off his back.
Thomas seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Silva does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Silva pushes Thomas off but Thomas dives into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Thomas throws an elbow but Silva slips to the side and avoids it well.
Thomas has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Silva is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Thomas yanks on the arm and Silva is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Thomas.
