Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jean Luc Jalbert!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, John Roberts and Eddie Farnsworth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jalbert misses with a hook. Boxaaja ducked under it nicely.
A jab from Jalbert does it's job there.
Jalbert throws a hook but Boxaaja avoids it easily.
Boxaaja throws a jab when Jalbert was well out of range.
Jalbert looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Boxaaja lands with a kick to the ribs.
Jalbert lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Jalbert throws an off balance right hand
and Boxaaja counters with a left to the body.
Boxaaja on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Boxaaja misses with an uppercut
and Jalbert counters with a nice body shot.
Boxaaja seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Jalbert throws an off balance right hand

and Boxaaja counters with a crisp one two that drops Jalbert! Boxaaja thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Jalbert to his feet! Jalbert is in big trouble!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Boxaaja misses with a wild body shot.
Jalbert moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
We've been informed that Jalbert has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Jalbert missing with a left hand there. Boxaaja was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Nice uppercut there from Jalbert.
Boxaaja scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Jalbert is rocked!
Boxaaja feints with a jab and clips Jalbert right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Jalbert is sent crashing into the canvas and Boxaaja leaps in for the kill! Jalbert tries to get to his feet but Boxaaja is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Jalbert is in need of a savior and steps in!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Paul Boxaaja!
