Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joseph DeAngelo (ranked 1127 p4p, 1071 weight class) and Sirus Hall (ranked 172 p4p, 161 weight class). Hall has chosen Thin Lizzy - Cold Sweat as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Joseph DeAngelo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sirus Hall!
The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Eliza Hachem and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - DeAngelo throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

DeAngelo has closed the distance and engaged Hall in a clinch.
DeAngelo is trying to pull guard but Hall turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
DeAngelo misses with some punches.
DeAngelo fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Hall takes a shot to the head.
DeAngelo tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hall smiles and moves away.

Hall closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. DeAngelo did well to prevent Hall getting side control.

DeAngelo is defending against the submission attempts here by Hall.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hall is trying to control the action in half guard but DeAngelo is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Hall tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
DeAngelo wants to control but Hall postures up.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Hall cracks DeAngelo with a big right hand but DeAngelo just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Hall is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but DeAngelo is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
A bit of a lull in the action here.
Hall trying to control the position but DeAngelo is working away.
DeAngelo gets back to half guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Hall is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. DeAngelo doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hall.
The fighters are battling for position here. DeAngelo manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

DeAngelo is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Hall stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. DeAngelo swivels though and keeps the full guard.
DeAngelo keeping moving, preventing Hall from controlling successfully.

DeAngelo has his foot on Hall's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hall works his way back into a safe position though.
Hall wants to control from the top but DeAngelo keeps moving.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as DeAngelo holds on and takes a little breather.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Hall stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. DeAngelo swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hall wants to control from the top but DeAngelo keeps moving.

DeAngelo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hall can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Hall drops back looking for a leg! DeAngelo is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and DeAngelo manages to kick Hall off! Hall jumps back into DeAngelo's guard.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Sirus Hall will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

DeAngelo digs a good hook to Hall's body.

Hall has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Hall dodges the punch combination from DeAngelo.
No joy there for Hall, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sirus Hall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hall fails to land with a series of punches.

and DeAngelo counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Sirus Hall has been cut.
Hall swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hall takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
DeAngelo throws a body punch but Hall moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hall misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Hall is breathing heavily.
Hall swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
DeAngelo was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Sirus Hall is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Hall scores with a hook to the body. DeAngelo takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Hall misses with the combination.
DeAngelo seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

DeAngelo lands a big uppercut and Hall crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Hall looks OK. DeAngelo waves Hall back to his feet!

Hall is rocked!
Hall walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from DeAngelo! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
