Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lukasz Luxon!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Hirohito Nitta and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luxon misses with a takedown attempt - Ross sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Luxon closes the distance and clinches.
Ross wants a takedown but no success here.

Luxon pulls guard effortlessly.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Ross drops back looking for a leg! Luxon is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Luxon manages to kick Ross off! Ross jumps back into Luxon's guard.
Luxon pulls Ross in close to prevent any damage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ross pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Luxon is keeping the position for now.
Luxon is trying to control the position but Ross postures up.

Ross has gone for a leg lock! Luxon slips out almost immediately though and dives into Ross's guard.

Luxon controls from within his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Luxon with a flurry of punches that miss.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ross keeping moving, preventing Luxon from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Luxon content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Ross has locked up a guillotine! Ross's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Luxon is holding on here and Ross must be using up a lot of energy. Luxon has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Ross gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
