The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St. Gough tries to close the distance and clinch but Talo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Talo throws a half hearted mid kick.
St. Gough tries to counter with a clinch but Talo shakes him off and moves away.
St. Gough throws a poor cross that misses
and Talo counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Talo appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
St. Gough misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Talo.
It looked like Talo was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
St. Gough throws a body shot but no joy.
St. Gough has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
St. Gough throws a hook but Talo avoids it easily.
St. Gough lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Talo at a distance.
Talo cracks a nice hook into St. Gough's ribs.

and Talo counters with a crisp one two that drops St. Gough! Talo thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves St. Gough to his feet! St. Gough is in big trouble!

Talo bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
St. Gough is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Talo moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
