Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sero Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Feodoro Contadino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kim's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, CANON in D Korean Version (with gayageum) . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sero Kim!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Feodoro Contadino!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Donatello Bradman and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kim misses with a few strikes there.
Contadino throws a body punch but Kim moves out of range.
A bone on bone clash there as Contadino blocks the leg kick.
Kim looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Feodoro Contadino seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kim pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Contadino moves in looking to clinch but Kim pushes him off.
Contadino tries to clinch but Kim is having none of it.
Contadino misses the shot to the body.
Contadino fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
An inside leg kick lands from Kim.
Kim looks to throw the jab but Contadino is out of range.

Kim has closed the distance and engaged Contadino in a clinch.
Contadino tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kim's elbow.
Kim with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Contadino tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Contadino drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Kim with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.


It looks like Feodoro Contadino has been cut.

Kim manages to break the clinch.

Contadino shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kim's guard.
Kim is trying to keep Contadino in close.

Kim knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Contadino on the ground.
Kim tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Contadino drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Contadino jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Contadino blocks a head kick by Kim.
Contadino takes a kick to the side of the head.
Contadino takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kim gets caught flat footed, as Contadino shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Contadino trying to control but Kim is working from the bottom.
Contadino might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Kim kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kim wants to sweep here but Contadino controlling him for the moment.

Contadino is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

and Kim counters with a head kick.

Kim darts in and clinches Contadino up against the cage.
Kim tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Contadino goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Contadino misses with a punch on the inside.
Contadino tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kim's elbow.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Kim tries to land knees in the clinch but Contadino avoids the damage to the body.
Kim is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Contadino is keeping busy.
Maybe Kim would be better served going for some more strikes rather than trying to control so much.

Kim tries to stall but Contadino uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Kim gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Contadino.
Sero Kim has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Feodoro Contadino.

Kim is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Sero Kim.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Contadino shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Kim counters with a flying knee. Nice.


That has opened up Feodoro Contadino's cut even more.

and Kim holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Contadino tries to pull guard but Kim holds him up against the cage and eventually Contadino drops back down to his feet.
Sero Kim has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Feodoro Contadino.
Kim lands a knee to the body.
Contadino is working for takedown but Kim is calmly controlling the position for now.
Kim wants to stall.

Contadino is breathing heavily.

Kim pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Contadino tries for a takedown but Kim sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Kim swats away the attempt to clinch by Contadino.

and Kim makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Kim lands with a hook. Contadino tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Good leg kick by Kim there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Kim circles away from the clinch attempt.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kim clobbers Contadino with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.


The cut above Feodoro Contadino's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Sero Kim is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Kim pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Kim takes the fight into the clinch.

Contadino goes for a takedown attempt but Kim pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Kim is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Contadino takes a kick to the side of the head.
Contadino shoots in for a double leg but Kim sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Contadino avoids a kick to the body.

Contadino shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Contadino was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Kim wants to hold on but Contadino pushes him away.
Kim is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Kim manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Kim is trying to maintain the position but Contadino is very close to passing his half guard.
Contadino keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Contadino is working for a submission of some sort.
Contadino prevents Kim from improving his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sero Kim dominated that second round.
The cut man is working on Feodoro Contadino's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Kim connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Contadino fails with an attempt to clinch.

and Kim counters with a good low kick that Contadino was not able to check.
Contadino has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Contadino there as he acknowledges the shot.

Kim is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Contadino can do to turn this around?
Kim throws a head kick that looked like it stung.


Feodoro Contadino's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Contadino closes the distance looking to clinch
and Kim counters with a solid body kick.
Contadino walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Kim tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Contadino takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Contadino shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kim pinned against the cage. Kim gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Contadino walks forward, straight into a front kick from Kim.

Kim throws a leg kick which misses Contadino's front leg but catches the back leg as Contadino tries to avoid it.
Kim throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
A punch combination from Kim misses.
Kim fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Contadino looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Sero Kim has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Feodoro Contadino.
Kim thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Contadino if he has to take too many more of those.
Contadino shoots for a takedown but Kim saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Kim dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Contadino. That did some damage!

Contadino has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kim avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Kim breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kim buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Kim takes the fight into the clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Kim pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kim misses with a body kick.
Contadino misses with a body shot.
Kim fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Contadino.
Kim connects with a solid leg kick.
Contadino needs to keep his hands up - Kim had a free shot at his head there.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Contadino misses with a double jab
and Kim counters with a body kick.
Kim tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kim lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Feodoro Contadino's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Sero Kim!
