Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tapan Desai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Khabieber MacRegor!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Eddie Farnsworth and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Desai lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Desai really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Desai gets caught flat footed, as MacRegor shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
MacRegor slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Let's hope that MacRegor has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Desai has a closed guard, preventing MacRegor from standing up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
MacRegor is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
MacRegor's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
MacRegor drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Desai manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now MacRegor has Desai in his guard.
MacRegor throws his legs up looking for a submission but Desai uses it to pass to side control.
Desai landing strikes.
Desai knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for MacRegor on the ground.
MacRegor manages to work his way to half guard, despite Desai's best efforts.
MacRegor wants to control but Desai is keeping busy.
MacRegor gets full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Desai trying to stand up but can't free himself from MacRegor's guard.
MacRegor is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with MacRegor in particular looking to stall.

MacRegor is thwarting Desai's attempts to control the position.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
MacRegor seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Desai is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
