PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Luther (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Mcarthy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Luther has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcarthy shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Luther as he avoids it easily.
Luther looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Luther lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Mcarthy fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Luther sprawls well initially but Mcarthy persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Mcarthy lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Mcarthy winds up and cracks Luther with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Mcarthy has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Luther defend it? Mcarthy steps over the head and cranks it - Luther is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Mcarthy!
