Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dick Glover (ranked 1624 p4p, 3847 weight class) and Uwe Eggert (ranked 198 p4p, 432 weight class). Uwe Eggert will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Glover manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Eggert on his heels. He'll look to pass Eggert's guard now, I'm sure.
Eggert looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Glover connects with a nice short shot to Eggert's temple.
Glover has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

That was a close round but I would say that Dick Glover will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Glover is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Glover arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Eggert's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
