Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Thorn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Moyses Flamengo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thorn comes into the arena with AC/DC - TNT blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Thorn!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Moyses Flamengo!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thorn misses with a hook. Flamengo ducked under it nicely.
Thorn uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Flamengo has time to react.
Thorn scores with a nice right hand.
Thorn swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Flamengo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Thorn's waist but Thorn gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Flamengo off to one side.
No luck for Flamengo with that takedown attempt.

Flamengo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Mike Thorn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Moyses Flamengo.

Mike Thorn is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Thorn looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Flamengo keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Thorn.
Flamengo closes the distance and clinches up with Thorn, looking for a takedown. Flamengo pushes Thorn against the cage but Thorn circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Nice takedown defense from Thorn. No joy for Flamengo on that attempt.
Flamengo steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Thorn.

Flamengo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Thorn pinned against the cage. Thorn gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Flamengo has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Flamengo there as he acknowledges the shot.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Flamengo.
Flamengo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Thorn misses with a few strikes there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Thorn dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Thorn lands a big shot that drops Flamengo! Can he finish him?

Thorn postures up and lands a big shot to Flamengo's brow.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Flamengo is on top in guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Flamengo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Flamengo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Flamengo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Thorn wants to get back to his feet but Flamengo is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Flamengo drops back looking for a leg! Thorn is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Thorn manages to kick Flamengo off! Flamengo jumps back into Thorn's guard.
Flamengo is breathing heavily.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Flamengo misses with a takedown attempt - Thorn sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Thorn connects with a right hand. Flamengo shakes it off.
Thorn misses with a straight left.

Flamengo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Thorn's waist but Thorn gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Flamengo off to one side.
Thorn keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Thorn throws a left that rocks Flamengo and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Thorn dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Flamengo regain composure!
Flamengo is rocked!
It looks like Moyses Flamengo has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Thorn lands a strong strike to the head of Flamengo. That's dazed him! Thorn looking to finish here. Flamengo is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Thorn lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mike Thorn!
