Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diarra misses with a hook

and Shite decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Diarra's guard.
Diarra is looking to stand back up but Shite counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Diarra.

Shite is pressing down on Diarra's thigh, looking to free his foot. Diarra is holding on for now.
Shite trying to control the action but Diarra is working from the bottom.

Shite is trying to work for a kimura but Diarra is defending well.
Shite looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shite stops Diarra from getting back to his feet.

Shite is keen to just control but Diarra is a slippery customer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Diarra is trying to stand up here but Shite is controlling him well.
Shite looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Shite is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Diarra doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Shite.
Shite passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Diarra!
Diarra squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

Shite can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Diarra is looking to escape.

Shite has hold of Diarra's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Diarra manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Shite working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Diarra looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Shite! Submission of the night perhaps?
