Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Helen Salvacion (ranked 24290 p4p, 6713 weight class) and Virgin Mary (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Helen Salvacion!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Virgin Mary!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Mary shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Salvacion sprawls well. Salvacion wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mary gets slowly back to his feet.
Salvacion thinks about countering with a body kick.

Mary closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Salvacion quickly recovers to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Salvacion is controlling Mary's position as best he can from this difficult position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Mary throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Salvacion's waist but Salvacion gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mary off to one side.

The referee asks Mary politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Mary prefers to stall for the moment though.

Mary decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Mary fails with a takedown attempt.
Helen Salvacion has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Virgin Mary.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Mary shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Salvacion manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Mary fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Salvacion to the ground. Mary is now in Salvacion's guard.

Mary tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Salvacion shoots for a takedown but Mary saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Mary shoots in and drives through. Salvacion sprawls well.

Mary fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Salvacion sprawls well initially but Mary persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Mary tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Salvacion.

Mary is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Salvacion manages to get to full guard.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Mary won't allow Salvacion to sweep him here.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Salvacion misses with a takedown attempt - Mary sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
As Salvacion backs off Mary throws a huge counter combo but Salvacion manages to avoid it all.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Helen Salvacion. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mary darts in looking for a takedown but Salvacion gets double underhooks and turns Mary into the cage.
Salvacion goes for a double leg but Mary avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Mary continues to drive forward.
Mary replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Salvacion blocks it well.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Salvacion escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Virgin Mary showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Salvacion misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Mary raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.

Mary looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Mary feints and as Salvacion raises his hands in defense, Mary changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Salvacion throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mary was covering up waiting for the punch and Salvacion finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Mary has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Salvacion has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Salvacion's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Mary throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
No luck for Salvacion with that takedown attempt.

Mary manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Salvacion on his heels. He'll look to pass Salvacion's guard now, I'm sure.

Virgin Mary is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Salvacion manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mary manages to get himself to full guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Mary is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Salvacion presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
