PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between ken Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and AndersonFedor StPierreDiaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). StPierreDiaz comes into a darkened arena with his song building. It's not a game kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardy shoots in looking for a takedown. StPierreDiaz tries to sprawl out of it but Hardy keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. StPierreDiaz manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

StPierreDiaz scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

StPierreDiaz is trying to work for a kimura but Hardy is defending well.

StPierreDiaz is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

StPierreDiaz is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hardy sees it coming and defends easily.
Hardy gets back to full guard.
Hardy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

StPierreDiaz drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and StPierreDiaz jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Hardy has his foot on StPierreDiaz's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. StPierreDiaz works his way back into a safe position though.

StPierreDiaz tries to free his leg and advance position but Hardy is retaining full guard.
StPierreDiaz is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Hardy has his foot on StPierreDiaz's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. StPierreDiaz works his way back into a safe position though.
StPierreDiaz won't allow Hardy to get back to his feet.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Hardy gets caught flat footed, as StPierreDiaz shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

StPierreDiaz drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Hardy dives on top into guard.
Hardy is breathing heavily.

StPierreDiaz is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
StPierreDiaz keeping moving, preventing Hardy from controlling successfully.
Hardy will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Hardy looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Hardy is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so StPierreDiaz is just riding it out for now. Hardy eventually gives up the hold.

StPierreDiaz is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Hardy pulls his head out easily.
StPierreDiaz wants to improve his position but Hardy is controlling well.
