The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murakami lands a head shot.
Jenning throws a body kick that misses
enabling Murakami to counter with a crisp jab.
Nice cross by Murakami.
Murakami connects with a body shot that sends Jenning's belly button to the back.
Murakami misses with a hook. Jenning ducked under it nicely.
Murakami swings widly with a right hand
and Jenning counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Murakami!
Jenning tries to score with some ground and pound. Murakami controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jenning is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Murakami looks calm but he's in trouble here. Jenning gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Murakami is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Jenning lets go of the hold and Murakami can pop his arm back in it's socket.
