Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Willie Layer!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Patrick Alders and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mendy walks into a stiff left hand from Layer.
It looks like Pierre Ragout Mendy has been cut.
Mendy shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Mendy misses with a double jab
enabling Layer to counter with a crisp jab.
Mendy looks to land a right hand but Layer moved out of range.
A swing and a miss from Mendy.
Mendy throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Layer makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Mendy backs away from a small jab... but Layer lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Mendy crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Layer with a spectacular finish!
