The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Igor Prikhodko and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Lee feints and as Lawris raises his hands in defense, Lee changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Lee drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lee jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Lawris tries to bum rush Lee with a series of wild strikes but Lee uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Lee shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lawris's guard.

Lee fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lawris sprawls well initially but Lee persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Willy Lee overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lawris can do anything to dispel that myth.

Lee pushes Lawris up against the cage in a clinch.
Lee is trying to drag Lawris to the mat but Lawris just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Lee looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lawris with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Lee perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Lee is nestled in close to Lawris, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

And that's the end of the fight!
Willy Lee showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lee, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
