The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Storm throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Storm will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Roberts shoots for a double leg takedown but Storm sprawls well. He's pushed Roberts's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Roberts throws a series of punches but Storm avoids them all with ease.

and Roberts counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Storm wants to get back to his feet but Roberts passes into half guard.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Storm holds on and takes a little breather.

Storm manages to escape and get back to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

and Roberts counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Storm!

Roberts goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Storm turns into him and now he's in Roberts's guard.

Roberts postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Storm is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Roberts, into his guard.

Roberts looking for a guillotine here but Storm defends easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Storm forces his way into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Storm connects with a nice short shot to Roberts's temple.

Storm wants to stand up but Roberts has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Storm wants to lay and pray for a moment but Roberts keeps working.

Storm gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
A combination from Storm does no damage.
Storm throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Roberts colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Storm as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Roberts is left battered and dazed whilst Storm and his camp cheer!
