Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Franklyn Lucas and Bruno Lombardi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balkan slips a jab from Brown.
Brown moves out of range as Balkan strikes.
Brown doesn't manage to clinch there - Balkan circles away.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Balkan has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Brown throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Balkan with the counter takedown but Brown avoids it easily.
Brown throws a shot from downtown. Balkan moves away and avoids it.
And Balkan tries to counter it with a takedown but Brown pushes his down on his head and steps out.

That was a close round but I would say that Billy Bob Brown will probably get the nod.

Balkan throws a lazy right hand but Brown sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
It looked like Brown wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Brown moves into the clinch.
I was talking to Brown's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

A nice glancing elbow lands by Brown.

Balkan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A swing and a miss from Balkan.
Brown feints and then cracks Balkan's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Balkan down.
Brown throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Brown tries to throw a body punch but Balkan avoids it by throwing Brown back against the cage.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Balkan is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Brown gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Balkan has Brown pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Brown manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Brown shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Balkan swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Good work by Balkan as he checks the leg kick.
Brown with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Brown throws a big shot that misses.
Balkan unleashes a big counter combination but Brown bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Brown cracks Balkan with a good jab.
Brown walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Brown tries to clinch up but Balkan circles away and keeps his distance.

A jab from Brown finds it's way through Balkan's defenses.

The crowd cheers as Brown lands an impressive looking overhand right. Balkan doesn't seem phased though.

Boris Balkan's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Brown lands a big head kick that sends Balkan tumbling to the mat! Brown takes a step backwards and waves Balkan back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Balkan is rocked!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Boris Balkan's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
