Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brock Lasner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rico Carandang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lasner tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Carandang tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lasner was well out of range. Poor timing from Carandang.
Carandang lands with a kick to the temple. Lasner shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
