Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kamomil Pipa (ranked 4226 p4p, 5803 weight class) and Ieuan Thomas (ranked 233 p4p, 267 weight class). Pipa comes to the cage accompanied by O.S.T.R - Polska Siła. Ieuan Thomas has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kamomil Pipa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Ieuan Thomas!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, David Schapiro and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Thomas keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Thomas throws a right and a left that Pipa avoids nicely.
Pipa swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Thomas works Pipa's body with a nice hook.
Pipa looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Thomas scores with a one two! Pipa had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Pipa displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Thomas.
It looked like Pipa wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Thomas tries to bum rush Pipa with a series of wild strikes but Pipa uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Thomas lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pipa circles away quickly and effectively.

and Thomas counters with a lovely straight right hand!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Thomas bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
The fighters circle momentarily. Thomas darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Thomas changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Pipa chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Thomas can pounce on him.

Pipa goes for a double leg but Thomas avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Thomas continues to drive forward.

Thomas connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Thomas throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Thomas moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
No joy there for Thomas, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
It looked like Pipa was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Thomas.

A little feinted left hand from Pipa on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Thomas looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Thomas throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Pipa was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Pipa scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Pipa decides to stand back up. Pipa steps back and let's Thomas get back to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Thomas closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Pipa throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Ieuan Thomas dominated that round.

Thomas catches Pipa with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Thomas lands with a nice combination. Pipa backs away looking to recover.

and Thomas takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Thomas lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Thomas falls off balance throwing a combination
and Pipa counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Thomas has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
A slow jab from Pipa misses its intended target.
Thomas connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Pipa's hands.
Thomas throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Pipa shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Pipa was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Thomas sneaks out the side door and pushes Pipa away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Thomas goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Pipa closes this distance looking for a takedown but Thomas circles away.

Thomas shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Pipa eats them both and turns towards Thomas to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Thomas closes the distance and clinches up with Pipa, looking for a takedown. Thomas pushes Pipa against the cage but Pipa circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Thomas throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pipa.
Pipa moves forwards but Thomas connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Ieuan Thomas is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Thomas takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Pipa lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Thomas down.
Pipa takes a little break here. Thomas wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Pipa cracks Thomas with an elbow. That is naaassty.

You can see the frustration on Thomas's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Thomas is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Pipa off and has taken his back!
Pipa is trying to get back to his feet but Thomas has full control of the position and if anything, Pipa has just worked his way into a worse spot.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

I've got Thomas winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
