Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Attilio De Fiore!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brian Chu!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, David Schapiro and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chu fakes high and swings low for a body shot but De Fiore manages to avoid it.
Chu ducks under a wild hook from De Fiore.
De Fiore lands a jab.

It looks like Brian Chu has been cut.
Chu scores with a punch to the head.
Chu slips under a jab.
Chu lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
The fight stays on the outside here - Chu looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
De Fiore fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Chu on the side of the head.
De Fiore ducks under a wild hook from Chu.
It looked like De Fiore was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Chu.
De Fiore displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Chu throws out the jab.
Chu throws a lazy right hand but De Fiore sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
De Fiore uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Chu.
No joy there for Chu, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
De Fiore walks into a straight right hand from Chu.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Chu throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Chu ducks straight into an uppercut from De Fiore and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Chu manages to regain guard straight away.

Chu is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst De Fiore is controlling him.
De Fiore's corner is telling him to maintain position.
De Fiore has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
De Fiore stops Chu from standing up.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
De Fiore sitting in guard, not really doing much.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
De Fiore lands with a right hand.

That has opened up Brian Chu's cut even more.
Chu swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
De Fiore ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Chu moves away.

De Fiore moves into the clinch successfully.

Chu is trying to break the clinch but De Fiore is controlling him.
De Fiore lands a left hand that snaps the head of Chu backwards.
De Fiore lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Chu looks to land a right hand but De Fiore moved out of range.

and Chu takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
We've been told by De Fiore's head coaches at Alfred Top Team that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Brian Chu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
De Fiore slips a straight right by Chu.
De Fiore is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Chu can do to turn this around?

Chu throws a chopping leg kick but De Fiore manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
De Fiore swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Chu finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
De Fiore dodges the punch combination from Chu.

An attempted straight right counter from De Fiore misses the target.
De Fiore lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

De Fiore drops Chu with a big left hand and mounts him. Chu is in big trouble!

The cut above Brian Chu's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
