This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 8 wins and 3 losses; Bazar Al Jhit! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 9 wins and 5 losses; Rico Cole!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Alexandre Firmino and Felipe Paraventi.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Cole has taken the fight to the clinch.
Al Jhit is looking for a takedown.

Cole stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Al Jhit swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Al Jhit working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cole doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Cole manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Al Jhit seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Cole's chin but Cole turns very nicely into Al Jhit's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Cole.
