The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knight uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mihaljevic.
Mihaljevic throws a right hand that misses
and Knight counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Knight ducks under a wild hook from Mihaljevic.
It looked like Knight wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Mihaljevic avoids the head kick by Knight.
Mihaljevic tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Knight was well out of range. Poor timing from Mihaljevic.
It looked like Knight was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Mihaljevic fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Knight manages to avoid it.

Knight throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mihaljevic was covering up waiting for the punch and Knight finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Knight is fighting to break Mihaljevic's control of his arms but Mihaljevic is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Knight not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Knight wants to control from the top but Mihaljevic keeps moving.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Mihaljevic counters with a lovely shot to the body.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Mihaljevic catches Knight with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Patrick Knight will probably get the nod.
That's time! Knight's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Knight takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Mihaljevic checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Mihaljevic clobbers Knight with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Knight throws a right and a left that both miss.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Knight is rocked!
Mihaljevic ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Knight's jaw. Knight's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Mihaljevic does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
