Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alvin Torres (ranked 4541 p4p, 24319 weight class) and Ayoki Shuba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Torres kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Levitating - Dua Lipa (ft. DaBaby). Ayoki Shuba told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shuba avoids the head kick by Torres.
Shuba tries a quick counter leg kick but Torres is wise to it.
Torres tries a head kick but it misses.
Shuba fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Torres has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Torres moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Torres throws a body kick that misses.
Shuba thumps Torres with a low kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Torres looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Shuba was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

Torres steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Shuba. That one must have hurt.
Torres is breathing heavily.

Torres chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Shuba can pounce on him.

Torres really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Whack! Shuba lands a heavy head kick that drops Torres. The ref tackles Shuba to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Torres was done.

Alvin Torres was interviewed post fight and said 'I'm young and have a lot to learn, but everyday is a new challenge and I'm ready for the next fight'.
