Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Durant (ranked 4488 p4p, 4433 weight class) and Milivoj Ljubicic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kevin Durant!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Milivoj Ljubicic!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ljubicic throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Durant's waist but Durant gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ljubicic off to one side.
A counter left hand to the body from Durant misses its target.
Durant throws a hook to the side of Ljubicic's head but Ljubicic sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A swing and a miss from Durant.
Durant scores with a nice strike.
Durant slips a jab from Ljubicic.
Durant lands a slapping body shot.
Ljubicic takes a body punch but keeps moving.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Durant lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Ljubicic has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Ljubicic and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Ljubicic is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Durant.

Ljubicic should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Durant throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ljubicic stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Ljubicic is trying desperately to land a takedown but Durant is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Ljubicic.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Durant feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Ljubicic sprawling to the canvas! Ljubicic rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Durant finish him?!
Ljubicic is rocked!
Ljubicic gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Durant gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Ljubicic is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kevin Durant!
