Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bunkechukwu Floyd!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Maxim Menshikov!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Damien Edna and Ben Hemmingworth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Floyd throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Menshikov counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Floyd throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Menshikov counters with a straight right hand.

It looks like Bunkechukwu Floyd has been cut.
Menshikov misses with a right hand
and Floyd counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Floyd looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Floyd rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Menshikov moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A little jabbing left from Menshikov on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Menshikov swings for the body but Floyd moves out of range.
A jab from Floyd misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Floyd throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Menshikov lands the left hand.
Floyd avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
No joy there for Floyd, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Menshikov is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Floyd lands a nice hook to Menshikov's body. Menshikov takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Floyd misses with a lunging right hand
and Menshikov counters with a one-two to the body.
Floyd throws a left and a right that both miss
and Menshikov counters with a left to the body.
Menshikov feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Floyds jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Menshikov throws a jab but it's blocked by Floyd.
Floyd throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Menshikov scores with a jab. Floyd acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Floyd misses the body punch

and Menshikov counters with a crisp one two that drops Floyd! Menshikov thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Floyd to his feet! Floyd is in big trouble!

Floyd is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Floyd throws a left and a right that both miss
and Menshikov counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
