PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Noah Pymus (ranked 3653 p4p, 22475 weight class) and Emilio Porter (ranked 451 p4p, 640 weight class). Porter comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Cambodia kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Emilio Porter was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Emilio Porter!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Steven Brown and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Porter takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Porter drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Pymus wants to control but Porter postures up.
Pymus is working to avoid the ground and pound but Porter connects with a decent elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pymus dodges the ground and pound from Porter.
Pymus might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Porter trying to control the action but Pymus is working from the bottom.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

That was a close round but I would say that Noah Pymus will probably get the nod.

Porter shoots in for a takedown but Pymus shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Pymus lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Well Pymus has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
