Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Agent Orange (ranked 2325 p4p, 762 weight class) and Genji Kamogawa (ranked 141 p4p, 45 weight class). Kamogawa has chosen The Veer Union - Bitter End as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Genji Kamogawa!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Winston Alpacca and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Orange fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kamogawa, pushing him back against the cage.
Kamogawa lands a hook to the side of the head.
Kamogawa cracks Orange with a nice body shot.
Orange is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Orange fails to pull guard.
Kamogawa lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Kamogawa lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Orange tightens his grip and picks Kamogawa up, before dumping him to the ground. Kamogawa manages to land in guard.
Orange is fighting to break Kamogawa's control of his arms but Kamogawa is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Orange trying to control but Kamogawa is working from the bottom.
Kamogawa looking to hit a scissor sweep but Orange is one step ahead there.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Kamogawa holds on and takes a little breather.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kamogawa can do anything to dispel that myth.
Kamogawa has his hands on Orange's head, controlling the position.
Kamogawa is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Kamogawa pulls Orange in close to his closed guard and prevents Orange from doing any damage or advancing position.
Orange might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Kamogawa pulls Orange in close to prevent any damage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Orange definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Kamogawa has Orange pulled in close to control his posture.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Orange gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kamogawa.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Orange has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kamogawa finds it's way round the side to connect with Orange's head.
Orange takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Genji Kamogawa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice sprawl there from Kamogawa as Orange shoots in.
Kamogawa digs a good hook to Orange's body.
Kamogawa scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Kamogawa cracks Orange with an open hand slap.

Orange is rocked!
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Kamogawa has cracked Orange with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Kamogawa lands another huge swinging hook and Orange tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Orange, before Kamogawa can land any more shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Genji Kamogawa!
