Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Julio Balestrin!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Bart Greer and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jammer looking to score a takedown here. Balestrin is defending well but Jammer drives through and ends up in Balestrin's guard.
Jammer is standing up over Balestrin. Balestrin looks to escape but Jammer dives into side control.
Balestrin takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Balestrin wants to get back to his feet.
You can see the frustration on Balestrin's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Balestrin takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Balestrin can do anything to dispel that myth.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jammer has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Balestrin is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Jammer yanks on the arm and Balestrin is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Jammer.
