The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
We've been informed that Kivi has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

and Kivi cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Garcia walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Garcia fails with the takedown.
Kivi digs a good hook to Garcia's body.
Kivi tests Garcia's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Garcia looks for a takedown but Kivi sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Orlando Garcia. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Kivi counters with a stiff right hand.
Garcia throws a nice looking combination but Kivi bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
The fighters circling - Kivi throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Garcia shoots and misses
and Kivi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Garcia tries to close the distance and clinch but Kivi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kivi scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Kivi feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Garcia sprawling to the canvas! Garcia rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Kivi finish him?!

Garcia is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kivi ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Garcia's jaw. Garcia's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Kivi does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
