Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Saigon (ranked 2720 p4p, 494 weight class) and Sergey Vinogradov (ranked 345 p4p, 81 weight class). Saigon comes to the cage accompanied by Run through the jungle. Sergey Vinogradov has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Johnny Saigon's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Santiago Holmes and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vinogradov takes a swing at Saigon's ribcage but misses.
Saigon went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Saigon digs a good hook to Vinogradov's body.
Saigon loads up on a big right hand but Vinogradov slips the punch.
Saigon lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Vinogradov circles away quickly and effectively.
Vinogradov throws out a loose jab but Saigon uses good head movement to avoid it.
Vinogradov throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Saigon on the side of the head.
Saigon displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Vinogradov throws out the jab.
Saigon was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Vinogradov's coach down at was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Vinogradov's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Saigon is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Vinogradov.

Vinogradov closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

That was a close second round but I would say that Johnny Saigon will probably get the nod.

That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Vinogradov! Submission of the night perhaps?

Sergey Vinogradov was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
