Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rico Paco (ranked 3271 p4p, 2869 weight class) and Van Der Ley (ranked 410 p4p, 367 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paco avoids a punch combination nicely.
Der Ley is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Der Ley tries to keep at a distance but Paco has taken the fight into the clinch.

Der Ley takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Paco lands a big uppercut and Der Ley crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Der Ley looks OK. Paco waves Der Ley back to his feet!

Paco throws a hook to the side of Der Ley's head but Der Ley sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Der Ley gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Paco gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Der Ley is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rico Paco!
Rico Paco spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
