Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brian Slanski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Budden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Budden has chosen Warfare - Joe Budden ft. Joell "Crack Pitcher" Ortiz as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Joey Budden!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Emerson Jorge and Thiago Cunha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slanski shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Budden as he avoids it easily.
Budden thuds a left hand into Slanski's body.
Nice jab there from Budden.
Slanski misses with a takedown attempt - Budden sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Slanski blocks a head kick by Budden.
Slanski needs to keep his hands up - Budden had a free shot at his head there.

Budden has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Slanski really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Joey Budden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Budden paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Slanski has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Slanski is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Budden defends it well.

Budden really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Slanski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Joey Budden showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Slanski closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Slanski looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Slanski wants to work for an arm triangle but Budden is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Budden is trying to stand.
Slanski has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Slanski is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Budden has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Slanski throws some wild stikes that Budden manages to avoid easily.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
