Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Greg Fitzgerald (ranked 1033 p4p, 1922 weight class) and Pete Kiloe (ranked 141 p4p, 256 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Fitzgerald might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to It's Bedtime by Ninja Sex Party. Kiloe has chosen Boys Noize - Lava Lava as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kiloe throws a right and a left that Fitzgerald avoids nicely.

Fitzgerald avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kiloe takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Fitzgerald scores with a counter punch that sends Kiloe to the canvas! Fitzgerald smells blood - he's punishing Kiloe with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Kiloe has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Greg Fitzgerald made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'I was fookin' ecstatic when I found out I'd be standin' & bangin' with another heavy hittah. Thanks for not being a coward, Pete! You got a hell of a chin & God fearin' hands! You let me fookin' know when you go again, yeh? I fookin' love it! '.
In defeat, Pete Kiloe stepped up to the mic, saying 'I'll be back!'.
