Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shite misses with a two punch combination.
Slumponyhu with a jab.
Slumponyhu does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Shite is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Slumponyhu misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Shite.
A solid leg kick lands there for Slumponyhu.
Shite has a takedown stuffed.
Slumponyhu appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Shite throws a right and a left that both miss.
Slumponyhu lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Shite circles away quickly and effectively.
Shite unleashes a big counter combination but Slumponyhu bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Slumponyhu fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Shite has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Shite fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Slumponyhu avoids it really well and circles away.

Slumponyhu cracks Shite with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Slumponyhu cracks Shite with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Slumponyhu has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Shite to stand back up!

It looks like Waruman Shite has been cut.
Slumponyhu throws a right hand that Shite ducks under and follows up with a left that Shite also avoids with ease.
Shite with the counter takedown but Slumponyhu avoids it easily.

and Shite counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Shite working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Slumponyhu is defending against the submission attempts here by Shite.
Shite passes to full mount!

Shite working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Shite working for a submission but Slumponyhu is keeping him at bay.

Shite working for a guillotine from mount but Slumponyhu is in no mood to give up.
Shite won't let Slumponyhu get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Shite is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Slumponyhu has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Shite is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Slumponyhu can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Slumponyhu is wriggling around trying to escape.
Shite looking to control but Slumponyhu is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Shite wants to control but instead Slumponyhu manages to regain half guard.
Slumponyhu is refusing to be controlled, as Shite sits in half guard.
Shite is just content to waste time from the top position. Slumponyhu takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Slumponyhu wants to stand up but Shite is controlling him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Slumponyhu managing to control the position.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Slumponyhu throws a right and a left that both miss.
Slumponyhu tries a low kick but Shite avoids it.

Shite ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Shite drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Slumponyhu defends it well.
Donk. Slumponyhu catches Shite right on the button with a cross.
Slumponyhu misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Slumponyhu fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Slumponyhu walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Shite checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Slumponyhu has cracked Shite with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Slumponyhu lands another huge swinging hook and Shite tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Shite, before Slumponyhu can land any more shots!
