Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Noel Nicollier (ranked 3932 p4p, 4596 weight class) and Joey Chandler (ranked 459 p4p, 480 weight class). Joey Chandler has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Noel Nicollier!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joey Chandler!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Francis DeMontford and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chandler closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Chandler not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Chandler has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Chandler thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Nicollier's head.
Nicollier knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Chandler on the ground.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nicollier is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Chandler scores with a couple of nice shots.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Chandler connects with a nice short shot to Nicollier's temple.

Nicollier is bucking up trying to escape but Chandler cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Chandler lands a big shot to the head and Nicollier winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
