Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Musan Zaintashara (ranked 860 p4p, 1009 weight class) and Shinnosuke Nakagawa (ranked 128 p4p, 145 weight class). Zaintashara comes to the cage accompanied by The Art of War. Nakagawa has chosen Koto - CloZee as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Musan Zaintashara!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shinnosuke Nakagawa!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Russell Pearce and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakagawa throws the left hand but Zaintashara avoids the punch easily.
Zaintashara scores with a sloppy right hand. Nakagawa should have avoided that one.
Nakagawa throws a lazy uppercut
and Zaintashara counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Nakagawa closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Zaintashara to the mat! Zaintashara manages to get full guard.

Nakagawa controls from within his opponent's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Nakagawa accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Nakagawa slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nakagawa got a little sloppy there for a moment and Zaintashara has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Nakagawa has managed to get both his arms back between Zaintashara's legs - danger averted.
Zaintashara seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Nakagawa missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Zaintashara can't keep his opponent in guard - Nakagawa advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Zaintashara is trying to maintain the position but Nakagawa is very close to passing his half guard.

Zaintashara tries to lock up and control but Nakagawa gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Zaintashara is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Zaintashara tries to hold on but Nakagawa pushes him away.

Nakagawa looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Nakagawa tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Zaintashara is in all sorts of trouble here.
Nakagawa lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Nakagawa cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Zaintashara is trying desperately to improve position.
Nakagawa lands a nice shot to the head.
Nakagawa can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Zaintashara is looking to escape.
Zaintashara is desperately trying to improve his position but Nakagawa has a good base and remains in mount.
Nakagawa looking to finish Zaintashara with some ground and pound. This is bad for Zaintashara!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Zaintashara wants to control but Nakagawa is having none of it.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nakagawa's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Nakagawa has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Zaintashara is trying to keep an underhook but Nakagawa manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Nakagawa slips a nice elbow through Zaintashara's hands, connecting with Zaintashara's forehead.

Zaintashara has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Nakagawa. Oh but Zaintashara has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Nakagawa goes limp - he's gone! Zaintashara jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
