Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gabe Rudabaugh !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pacho Herrera!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Herrera.
Herrera misses with a takedown attempt

and Rudabaugh counters by moving into the clinch.
Herrera blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Gabe Rudabaugh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pacho Herrera.

Rudabaugh breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nice sprawl there from Herrera as Rudabaugh shoots in.
Herrera tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Rudabaugh manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Herrera leaves Rudabaugh with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rudabaugh goes for a takedown in the clinch but Herrera prevents it.

Rudabaugh 's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Herrera closes the distance and clinches.

Rudabaugh escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Herrera moves into the clinch successfully.
Rudabaugh lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Herrera.

Rudabaugh manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Herrera wants to stand but Rudabaugh is controlling his posture from full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Herrera won't allow Rudabaugh to get back to his feet.
Herrera really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rudabaugh . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rudabaugh is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Rudabaugh might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Rudabaugh keeping moving, preventing Herrera from controlling successfully.
Herrera connects with a couple of short punches.
Rudabaugh wants to sweep here but Herrera controlling him for the moment.

Rudabaugh is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Herrera presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Herrera jumps into guard, dragging Rudabaugh to the mat.
Rudabaugh pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Herrera is keeping the position for now.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Herrera wants to sweep but no luck.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Herrera has his foot on Rudabaugh 's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rudabaugh works his way back into a safe position though.
Rudabaugh looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Rudabaugh trying to control the position from guard on top but Herrera is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Herrera wants to sweep here but Rudabaugh controlling him for the moment.

Rudabaugh thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Herrera pulls Rudabaugh in to control the position.
Herrera preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Rudabaugh looks for a takedown but Herrera sprawls well.
No joy there for Herrera, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rudabaugh tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Herrera gets a clinch.
Herrera drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Rudabaugh prevents a takedown attempt there.
Rudabaugh can't get the takedown.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Herrera has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Rudabaugh after a bit of a struggle.

Herrera breaks the clinch.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Gabe Rudabaugh will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Rudabaugh shoots in looking for a takedown. Herrera tries to sprawl out of it but Rudabaugh keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Herrera manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A looping hook to the body misses from Rudabaugh . Herrera does a little dance to reset his feet.

A head kick by Herrera - that's a beauty! Rudabaugh is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Herrera can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Pacho Herrera!
