Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Softy McSofterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Axel Excel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Excel has chosen Everything Zen- Bush as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excel misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Excel tries to clinch but McSofterson is having none of it.
McSofterson blocks a head kick by Excel.
Excel misses with a few strikes there.
Excel throws a head kick but McSofterson moves out of range.
Excel tries to close the distance and clinch but McSofterson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Excel is looking to clinch but McSofterson is avoiding it.
Excel takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Excel tries to clinch there but McSofterson circles away.
McSofterson tries to bum rush Excel with a series of wild strikes but Excel uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Excel throws a push kick but McSofterson slaps the foot to one side.
McSofterson works Excel's body with a nice hook.
Excel looks gassed!
McSofterson lands a really nice looking cross but Excel seems unphased.
Left hook, right uppercut from McSofterson.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A punch combination from McSofterson misses.
Excel tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
McSofterson stalks Excel and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Excel's face. Excel staggers backwards, shaken.
McSofterson could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
McSofterson connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
McSofterson cracks a nice hook into Excel's ribs.

McSofterson moves into the clinch successfully.

McSofterson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Axel Excel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Excel throws the kick towards the body but McSofterson avoids it.
