Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Yoshimitsu Fukumitsu (ranked 1973 p4p, 1643 weight class) and Richard Morrison (ranked 116 p4p, 99 weight class). Fukumitsu comes to the cage accompanied by YOUNG AND BEAUTIFUL (AIZZO Remix). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fukumitsu has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Morrison finds it's way round the side to connect with Fukumitsu's head.
Yoshimitsu Fukumitsu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Morrison swings away with a leg kick that misses.

and Morrison connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

and Morrison makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Morrison lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Fukumitsu circles away quickly and effectively.
The fighters circling - Fukumitsu throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Morrison takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Morrison is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Fukumitsu had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Fukumitsu might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Morrison cracks Fukumitsu with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Fukumitsu looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Morrison finish him?

and Morrison counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Fukumitsu off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Morrison follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Fukumitsu was out before he hit the floor.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Richard Morrison!
A relieved looking Richard Morrison thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
