Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Austin (ranked 1958 p4p, 3668 weight class) and Zdravko Zdravkov (ranked 267 p4p, 467 weight class). The key to victory for Kyle Austin has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 4 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kyle Austin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Zdravko Zdravkov!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Austin misses the jab.
Austin scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Zdravkov is trying hard to land a takedown here. Austin sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Zdravkov tries to close the distance and clinch but Austin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Austin lands a nice leg kick that just misses Zdravkov's sensitive parts.
Austin leaves Zdravkov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Austin feints a jab promting Zdravkov to slip. Austin then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Zdravkov slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

It looks like Zdravko Zdravkov has been cut.

Austin pushes Zdravkov up against the cage in a clinch.

Kyle Austin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zdravko Zdravkov.

Zdravkov manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Zdravkov is trying to pull guard but Austin turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Zdravkov tightens his grip and picks Austin up, before dumping him to the ground. Austin manages to land in guard.

Austin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Zdravkov on the ground.

Austin has momentary wrist control but Zdravkov slips an elbow through the middle.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Zdravkov accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Zdravkov postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Zdravkov stands up over Austin, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Zdravkov keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Austin's head.
Zdravkov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Zdravkov's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Zdravkov has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at EFC Gym. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Zdravkov tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Austin defends well and Zdravkov ends up having to push Austin into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Zdravkov looking to sit in guard and control but Austin gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Zdravkov tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Austin's elbow.

Zdravkov blocks an elbow strike from Austin.
Austin throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Zdravkov blocks it with crossed arms.

Zdravkov is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Zdravkov thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Austin's head.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Zdravkov connects with a nice short shot to Austin's temple.
Austin is trying to get back to full guard.

Zdravkov throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Zdravkov is nestled in close to Austin, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Zdravkov working over Austin with some ground and pound. Austin looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Zdravkov lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Austin is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Zdravkov scores with a couple of nice shots.
Zdravkov working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Zdravkov takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Austin is rocked!
Zdravkov lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Austin! More strikes land and this one is all over! Zdravkov jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
