The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab lands there for Nabonaga.
Nabonaga stuns Maeda with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Maeda is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nabonaga sends Maeda crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Nabonaga is motioning to the referee to let Maeda up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

It looks like Takeya Maeda has been cut.
Nabonaga thows a body shot but no joy.
Nabonaga throws a solid leg kick but Maeda takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Nabonaga.
Nabonaga tries a head kick but it misses.
Nabonaga steps into range and cracks Maeda with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Maeda flops backwards and Nabonaga dives into his guard looking to finish!

Maeda is rocked!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Nabonaga wants to pass the guard but Maeda is keeping the position.

Nabonaga stands up and waves to Maeda to follow him.

Nabonaga jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Nabonaga fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Maeda manages to avoid it.
Nabonaga swings for the body but Maeda moves out of range.
Good work by Maeda as he checks the leg kick.
Nabonaga lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Nabonaga throws a sloppy head kick and Maeda moves out of range easily.
Nabonaga lands a glancing blow to the side of Maeda's head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nabonaga throws an overhand right that has Maeda reeling! Nabonaga follows up with more punches and Maeda is out cold! This one is all over!
