Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Warren Cold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dillon Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Warren Cold!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dillon Steel!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Richard Clark and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel throws a right hand that Cold ducks under and follows up with a left that Cold also avoids with ease.
Steel fails in his attempt to clinch.

Steel scores a takedown into full mount!
Cold tries to reverse the position but Steel maintains control.
Steel takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Cold is looking to improve his position but Steel isn't that keen on the idea.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Steel lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Steel trying to control but he's not successful this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cold is looking to improve his position but Steel isn't that keen on the idea.

Steel can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Cold is looking to escape.

Steel wants to control the pace but Cold is squirming around nicely.
Cold tries to lock up and control but Steel gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Steel lands with some strikes.

Steel looking for a guillotine from mount but Cold is having none of it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Steel prevents Cold from getting the reversal.
Steel looking to control but Cold is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Cold is working to get back to half guard.

Cold is trying to reverse the position but instead Steel has taken his back - oops!
Cold tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Steel goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Cold is on top in guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cold accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Cold has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Steel controls Cold momentarily but Cold frees himself.
Cold scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Cold throws a strike but Steel rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Cold working for a triangle but Steel defends it easily.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Steel accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Cold throws his legs up looking for a submission but Steel uses it to pass to side control.
Cold tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Steel wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dillon Steel dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Cold tries to clinch up but Steel circles away and keeps his distance.
A head kick misses from Cold.
Steel misses with a hook.
Steel is looking to clinch but Cold is avoiding it.
Cold fails to land the takedown.

Steel gets the takedown into side control.
Steel trying to control the action but Cold is working from the bottom.
Cold manages to get back to half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Steel trying to control the action but Cold is working from the bottom.
Steel wants to stand but Cold has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Steel looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Cold wants to control but Steel is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Steel is trying to control. Cold wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Cold has his takedown stuffed

and Steel counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Cold!
Steel controlling his opponent.

Cold is squirming around, avoiding Steel's attempts to control the action.
Cold tries to reverse the position but Steel maintains control.
Steel pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Cold can't escape the position.
Steel lands with some strikes.
Steel tries to control but Cold wriggling away.

Steel gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Steel tries to close the distance and clinch but Cold swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Steel on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Cold keeps the fight on the outside.
Cold tries for a takedown but Steel circles away easily

and Steel counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Warren Cold. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cold looking for a sweep. Not yet Cold, not yet.
Cold utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Steel stands up and waves to Cold to follow him.
Cold throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Steel's waist but Steel gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cold off to one side.
Cold doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Steel counters with a left and a right that stings Cold.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Steel throws a series of punches but Cold avoids them all with ease.

and Steel counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Steel.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Steel trying to control but Cold is working from the bottom.

Cold is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Dillon Steel has got the better of the ground game so far.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Cold looking to control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dillon Steel showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Cold's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!



Steel fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Cold sprawls well initially but Steel persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Cold wants to get back to full guard.
Cold wants to get back to his feet.
Cold wants to control but Steel is keeping busy.
Cold is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Steel seems to be working for a kimura but Cold defends the submission attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Steel wants to take a breather but Cold is having none of it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Cold shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Steel counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Steel is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Cold has his feet on Steel's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Cold misses with a takedown

and Steel counters with a single leg into guard. Cold didn't expect that.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Steel wants to pass the guard but Cold is keeping the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Cold has his feet on Steel's thighs here. He's pushed Steel off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Steel screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
