Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Orange Cassidy (ranked 5021 p4p, 4861 weight class) and Aj Penn (ranked 513 p4p, 503 weight class). Orange Cassidy has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Orange Cassidy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Aj Penn!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Cassidy walks into a left hand.

Cassidy closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Cassidy lands in his opponent's guard.

Cassidy drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Cassidy jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Cassidy is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Cassidy thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Cassidy controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Penn is trying to control the position but Cassidy postures up.
Penn really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cassidy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Cassidy thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Cassidy trying to control but Penn is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cassidy passes into half guard.
Penn trying to hold on to Cassidy's head to control him but Cassidy postures up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Cassidy works his foot free and advances to mount.
Cassidy prevents Penn from getting the reversal.
Penn looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Penn is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Cassidy locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Penn is forced to tap!
