Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Orfeu Carone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Baum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adam Baum is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carone throws an overhand right that lands on Baum's shoulder, as Baum tries to avoid the shot.
Carone throws a right and a left that Baum avoids nicely.
Carone takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Carone misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Baum buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
No joy there for Baum, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Carone misses with a hook. Baum ducked under it nicely.

Baum jumps guard and drags Carone to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Carone accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Carone stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Baum swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Well Baum has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
