Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Timur Vasiliev (ranked 324 p4p, 551 weight class) and Titus Lesnar (ranked 50 p4p, 76 weight class). Lesnar has chosen Next Big Thing as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vasiliev rushes Lesnar and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Vasiliev is pressed up against the cage. Lesnar has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Vasiliev down to the mat. Vasiliev avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Lesnar throws a sloppy head kick and Vasiliev moves out of range easily.
Lesnar throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Lesnar scores with a jab to the head.
Vasiliev misses with a body shot.
Lesnar's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Vasiliev connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Lesnar scrambles back to his feet.

It looks like Titus Lesnar has been cut.
Lesnar's jab looks to have found its range, popping Vasiliev under the eye.
A swing and a miss from Lesnar.
Lesnar misses with a hook to the body
and Vasiliev counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A telegraphed right hand from Vasiliev misses the target.

Vasiliev has managed to clinch.
Lesnar makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lesnar is looking to break free of the clinch but Vasiliev has double underhooks.

Vasiliev's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Lesnar looks to land a right hand but Vasiliev moved out of range.
Vasiliev doesn't manage to clinch there - Lesnar circles away.
Vasiliev scores with a hook.
Lesnar throws a hook to the side of Vasiliev's head but Vasiliev sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Vasiliev looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Lesnar walks into a left hand.

Lesnar ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Lesnar misses with a body shot
and Vasiliev counters with a nice body shot.

Vasiliev has taken the fight to the clinch.
Vasiliev lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Vasiliev lands a left hand.

That has opened up Titus Lesnar's cut even more.
Vasiliev works on Lesnar's body with a couple of short punches.
Vasiliev throws a punch but it's blocked by Lesnar.
Vasiliev lands with a right to the head.
Lesnar blocks a body shot from Vasiliev.
Vasiliev digs a right hand underneath Lesnar's ribcage. Lesnar let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Lesnar looks winded!

Vasiliev breaks the clinch.
Titus Lesnar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lesnar avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lesnar shoots in and drives through. Vasiliev sprawls well.
Lesnar avoids the body shot from Vasiliev.
Lesnar takes one on the button.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Vasiliev tries to bum rush Lesnar with a series of wild strikes but Lesnar uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Lesnar shoots in and drives through. Vasiliev sprawls well.
Timur Vasiliev has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Titus Lesnar.
Lesnar gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Lesnar swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Vasiliev scores with a jab to the body.
Vasiliev fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Vasiliev goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Vasiliev.

Lesnar on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Lesnar takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

The cut above Titus Lesnar's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Timur Vasiliev is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A shot to the liver by Vasiliev. Beautiful body shot.

Vasiliev lands a big right hand that sends Lesnar crashing to the mat! Vasiliev stays standing though and waves Lesnar back to his feet!

Lesnar is rocked!

Titus Lesnar's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Titus Lesnar's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
