Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Fujita Kiyomi (ranked 4359 p4p, 4979 weight class) and Ron Rousey (ranked 485 p4p, 512 weight class). Kiyomi's entrance music is I am. A fine choice. Rousey has chosen USA JUDO ANTHEM as his entrance music. Fujita Kiyomi has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Chris Saunders and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rousey stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kiyomi.
Fujita Kiyomi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rousey shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kiyomi napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Kiyomi explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Rousey feints and as Kiyomi raises his hands in defense, Rousey changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Kiyomi has his feet on Rousey's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rousey chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kiyomi can pounce on him.

Kiyomi manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Rousey keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Rousey blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Kiyomi tries to work over Rousey's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Kiyomi for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.
Rousey is trying to break the clinch but Kiyomi has him pressed against the cage.
Kiyomi tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Rousey avoids it.

Rousey has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Kiyomi after a bit of a struggle.

Rousey drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Kiyomi gets the underhooks and prevents it.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Rousey looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Kiyomi puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Still in half guard, Kiyomi seems content to control.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Rousey closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kiyomi to the mat! Kiyomi manages to get full guard.
Kiyomi is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Kiyomi is pressed up against the cage. Rousey has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kiyomi down to the mat. Kiyomi avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kiyomi has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Rousey off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Rousey throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kiyomi was covering up waiting for the punch and Rousey finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Rousey has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Rousey and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

I would just about give that final round to Ron Rousey.
Well Kiyomi has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
